Essay Prize 2018. The Robinson College Essay Prize is open to all students currently in Year 12 (Lower Sixth, or equivalent) at a UK School. It is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and showcase their independent study and writing skills.
This annual essay contest is organized in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world's youth in promoting a culture of peace and sustainable development. It also aims to inspire society to learn from the young minds and to think about how each of us can make a difference in the world.
Off About the competition. The Sheffield Philosophy Essay Prize is an annual competition for Years 10, 11 and 12. The aims of this prize are threefold: firstly, to widen interest in philosophy and in studying philosophy at university level among students who would not otherwise be exposed to the subject; secondly, to encourage ambitious and talented secondary school students considering.
Habinteg 2020 prize Habinteg 2020 Prize: An essay competition To mark Habinteg’s half century of leadership in accessible and adaptable housing, we are launching an anniversary essay competition to consider what the next 50 years of accessible and inclusive homes and neighbourhoods might be like.
The HART prize for Human Rights aims to: Raise awareness of conflict, poverty and human rights abuses amongst young people in the UK, particularly situations which are underrepresented in the mainstream media; Encourage young people to examine and engage critically with human rights issues by conducting independent research, and producing written or creative pieces.
The Inn provides several scholarships and prizes in addition to our major GDL, BPTC and Pupillage Scholarships: the Hebe Plunkett Scholarships for disabled students and pupils; the Michael Beloff Essay Prize and The Lee Essay Prize are run annually and offer cash prizes; the Nicholls Prize is awarded annually to the winner of the Gray's Inn Moot Competition.
